Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Lightly coat a 9x13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray to prevent the cake from sticking.
In a large bowl, mix together:
1 box of strawberry cake mix
1 cup melted butter
1 1/4 cups milk
4 eggs
Blend until the ingredients are well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven.
Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the hot cake. This will allow the pudding to seep into the cake later.
In a bowl, combine:
2 small packages of banana pudding mix
4 cups milk
Whisk until the mixture is smooth.
Once the cake has cooled slightly, slowly pour the banana pudding mixture over the cake.
Make sure the pudding seeps into the holes and coats the cake evenly.
Cover the pan and refrigerate for a few hours to let the flavors blend and the pudding set.
Before serving, spread a layer of whipped topping over the set pudding layer.
Decoratively arrange sliced strawberries and bananas on top of the whipped topping.
Slice and enjoy your delicious Strawberry Banana Poke Cake!
