How To Make Pineapple Mashed Sweet Potatoes

– First, preheat the oven to 400°F to get it nice and hot.

– Then, combine all the ingredients in a buttered baking dish – the sweet potatoes, pineapple, maple syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together well.

– Next, cover the dish tightly with foil to keep the moisture locked in.

– Once covered, bake the mixture in the oven for around 50-55 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are soft and tender when pierced with a fork.

– After baking, remove the foil covering and stir the pineapple mixture together again.

– At this point, heavy cream and cayenne pepper get added to the dish. Mix thoroughly to combine.

– Finally, the mashed sweet potatoes are ready to serve! Enjoy the sweet and tangy dish either warm or at room temperature.
