Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 Oreo cookies roughly crushed
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  • Prepare the mugs: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease two oven-safe mugs or ramekins and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Make the dough: Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy. Stir in the egg yolk and vanilla.
  • Add dry ingredients: Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt separately. Stir them into the butter mixture just until combined.
  • Add chocolate: Fold in crushed Oreos and chocolate chips. Divide the dough evenly between the two mugs without packing it down.
  • Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers remain slightly soft.
  • Add marshmallows: Top with mini marshmallows and bake for another 1–2 minutes, until soft and lightly toasted. Cool for 5 minutes and serve warm.
