Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ¼ cup powdered pork rinds
  • ¼ tsp onion granules
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 1 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • No sugar added ketchup for serving
  • Chives or green onions sliced, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, powdered pork rinds, onion granules, egg, fresh basil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix the ingredients until just combined; do not overmix to keep the burgers tender.
  • Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
  • Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat with a bit of oil to prevent sticking.
  • Cook the turkey patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
  • Serve the burgers with no sugar-added ketchup and garnish with chives or green onions.
