Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch asparagus trimmed and chopped
  • 8 oz 225 g cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 –2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional
  • 1 tsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté chopped asparagus for 4–5 minutes until tender. Let cool.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  • Stir in garlic and lemon juice.
  • Add cooked asparagus and blend or mash to desired texture.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Chill for 30 minutes before serving with chips or crackers.
